2021 State Convention

Virginia Republicans will nominate candidates for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General via a convention taking place on Saturday, May 8, 2021. The convention will be unassembled in nature, meaning that voters, known as "delegates" in conventions, will vote at one of thirty-seven sites across the state rather than one central location. Polls will be open from 9am to 4pm. The election will utilize ranked choice voting.

Those wishing to vote in the convention must register. Colonial Heights voters must complete this form in order to participate. The form must be returned to committee treasurer Walt Mullaney via email (mullanew@aol.com) or via US mail (1215 Pleasant Dale Ave, Colonial Heights, VA 23834) by Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 5pm local time. Postmarks do not govern.

The voting site for Colonial Heights residents has not been finalized. This page will be updated when more information is available.
